FrostFlow Plains

The main hunting plains of the Folly. Here wolves will find plenty of food to go around, though sometimes competition with the human kind, for the good elk or deer. This is generally as well where all other kinds of beasts can be found such as the giants, Mammoths, and Sabre Cats, so it is considered not on a good hunting spot but a dangerous place for the wolves to be.

As Luke's pack-mates trudged after him, he came to a sudden halt as soon as he realised he'd come to stand at the edge of the plains. Without turning around the male could smell the sweet scent of Rhap and the familiar one of the silent Mello, but no Xanthos. Whipping his head back, he flicked his ears anxiously, not saying a word, simply waiting for the young wolf to appear. But he did not. And anyway, where was the rest of the pack? He couldn't see them anywhere in this everlasting flat landscape.

[Rhapsody]

Rhapsody walked in towards the edge of the plains alongside Luke, and soon noticed that he seemed a bit anxious. Looking ahead, Rhapsody couldn't see any of the other members of the pack, and was wondering exactly why they weren't nearby. She sniffed the air, but didn't manage to pick up on anything except for the strong scent of a mammoth herd that had recently passed through. With a flick of her tail, the female trotted 100 or so metres towards the heart of the plains, and held her head high. Luckily, a breeze swept over the area after no time at all, and Rhapsody managed to pick up on the scent of her pack mates that was carried along the wind. She turned her body to face the direction the wind had arrived from and looked back over to where she assumed Luke was still standing.

"I think they're over this way," she called out to Luke, tilting her head in the direction she was speaking of. She wanted to wait for Luke, but she didn't want to waste too much time out in the open; the plains didn't provide much cover from humans. She anxiously brushed her tail against her legs, hesitating as to whether or not she should keep moving forward and hope that everyone was going to follow, or to simply wait. Having made her decision, Rhapsody sent out another bark to Luke to let him know that she was going to keep moving, and just hoped that he would make sure to keep up. As she began to move, her eyes caught a glimpse of something far off in the distance, and decided that the pack must be over there, as she could still pick out traces of Sailor's familiar scent on the wind. She picked up her pace, deciding to head over to the object, and hopefully the pack.

The adult wolf kept an intent gaze on Rhap. The way she figured out things and simply acted fascinated him.
As she called out to him saying where she thought the pack was located, he broke into a quick trot, following her, expecting the others to naturally walk after them.
Well where possibly could she be leading us, he pondered, not bothering to sniff the air again for any scents. He had enough trust in the female to lead them to safety.
