I believe I went through a little phase, a phase with no eyes and the smudge tool. ^^ I did the wolf and this possibly around the same time.

That's good, Blayse! The smudge effect works well with your sort of art style. I like how the grasses aren't smudged, so it's a nice contrast between the smudged wolf and the grass.
Sorry, went on in a tangent there. Basically, trying to say it's a good artwork.
