T ʜ ᴇ - B ᴀ s ɪ ᴄ s Name Origin: Indian - from a plant name Name Meaning: "without sorrow" - the plant itself is used for healing Nicknames: to come. Age: Three Gender: Female Rank: Shaman T ʜ ᴇ - E x ᴛ ᴇ ʀ ɪ ᴏ ʀ Fur: (Colour and Length) Ashoka has a thick and luscious pelt that is medium-long in length and made of an earthy mix of rustic reds, terracotta, chocolates, auburn browns and sandy-creams. Eye Colour: Her eyes are a murky green, flecked with hues of brown and grey and always look soft and welcoming. Build: Ashoka is not underfed. She isn't fat, per sey, but she isn't built very daintily. Sturdy would probably describe her best, as she has the toughness and endurance of a bulldozer, and when she is trying to get her job of healing done she can look quite formidable indeed. However, generally her warm smile and soft eyes make her look far more approachable. Markings: She has a few markings including a small splash of sandy gold on her chin which is surrounded by a faint sandy colour which envelops her muzzle. On either side of her nose this colour them extends into a cream splash that reached up to her eyes, above which two fainter cream eye-hooks are present. Her ears are dipped in dark chocolate, as are her paws to varying degrees, except for her right hind leg which is topped in a cream. Her tail is also dipped in a creamy white and there is a reddish band on her left fore-leg. [[view her reference for better detail]] Scars: This female has never gotten into any quarrels that would warrant a scar. Distinguishing Features: Her whole self from pelt-colouration to personality distinguish her from most other wolves, no specific feature standing out amongst the rest. T ʜ ᴇ - I ɴ ᴛ ᴇ ʀ ɪ ᴏ ʀ Personality: Ashoka is a friendly and welcoming female who most seem to be comfortable with. She has a soft and very compassionate, caring nature that made her perfect to be trained as a shaman and almost from the moment she stepped out of the den she was taught the importance and properties of varying plants and herbs. By this point she is a master of her profession and is willing to help heal any wolf in need. However, this mix of skill and the need to care make her quite a formidable force if you try and come between her and a needy patient. She can become borderline bossy and hold an almost mother-like protection over the wounded, ordering wolves around to be sure the afflicted is in the most pain-free, comfortable position she can offer. When not healing though, she is one of the more relaxed, smiley wolves in the pack, calm and tolerant of almost anything. The only thing she won't let slip by is bad manners or not pulling one's weight in the pack, and if she catches you performing either be prepared to receive an earful. She is non-violent and absolutely loves pups and seeing other wolves paired together, seeing a pack full of love as a very healthy one indeed. In short, Ashoka puts healing her packmates before anything else, but when her assistance is not required she is a relaxed, tolerant and happy she-wolf, ready for a laugh. Voice: Coming soon. Strengths: She is a very proficient healer and also very tolerant and welcoming towards other wolves. Weaknesses: She is not by any means a fighter. She will do anything to prevent the spilling of blood, the only time she will take action being if pups, injured or ones she loves are in grave danger. Talents: She has the ability to help heal just about anything from a stomach ache to a major laceration - her talent when it comes to the use of herbs is near unmatched.
